22 juin 2004 – Persfjord - Norvège
Descendant dans un vallon pour enregistrer à l’abri du vent j’aperçois une « souche » : étrange dans un paysage où il n’y a aucun arbre. Il s’agit en fait d’un renardeau qui profite du soleil à l’entrée du terrier devant lequel j’ai placé mes micros. Mais au loin la renarde ne tarde pas à donner l’alarme.

Going down a small hollow to record sheltered from the wind, I spot a "stump" - strange in a landscape where there are no trees. It’s a fox cub enjoying the sunshine in front of the den where I have set up my microphones. But in the distance, the vixen quickly sounds the alarm.
